AMBASSADORS EXECUTIVE BOARD Ambassadors Board Meeting March 9, 2007 AGENDA: 1.Update of plan to enroll more ambassadors Name of committee members and roles 2.STARS- Need commitment to training and session on May 31'st. Sessions will be run by ambassadors and on May 25, we need to script what we are doing and who is doing what. 3.Update on bowling night. Who is in responsible? 4.Update on Braves night. Who is responsible? 5. Where are we on lesson plans? Yes or no? 6. Steven talk about website. Bunches of thanks to him! NOTES: *If you feel your homeroom is doing well and is adjusted, you may choose not to go every week. *The only exception is that 3/15, 4/11, and 5/2 are MANDATORY days! Please use it to make an email group so you can forward my emails(notices sent to students indicated on list). 2.Report on Freshmman Homeroom Teachers Meeting on 2/7 Mrs. Clune- small groups. Freshman surveys, poster (who we are), attendance, ambassador's roles. 3.Suggestions/ Thoughts: Would you do this again next year? If not, why? How can we improve the program? 4. Volunteers for a committee to draft the mission, purpose and outline of the program for student handbook and website. 5. Website- Steven Mendelson thanks for volunteering. Attendance- Sign in for today’s meeting Pick up your homeroom attendance and note absences then return to Ms. Clune. You are responsible for seeing that there is an attendance form every Wednesday, even if you homeroom teacher does not print one. Remember the attendance policy-do we want to reconsider now that we only meet one time per week? 1 ab /month no penalty 2 ab /month warning 3 ab/ month extra activity that month 4 ab /month dismissed from ambassadors 2. We have Ordered Lanyards and Name Tags for you and we have also ordered a bulletin board that we will put up in the back hall probably near PPO.
